Prism
The prism is a polyhedron where two sides are its bases - identical polygons, sides of a surface - quadrangles, rectangles or parallelograms (see pictures).
By the form of a base you can distinguish triangular, four - five-.... angled prisms.
Vertical (straight) prism's edges of a side surface - rectangles - are perpendicular to the bases.
An inclined prism's edges of a side surface - parallelograms - aren't perpendicular to the bases.
Which prisms on the above picture are inclined?
If the basis of a straight prism is a regular polygon (with the equal sides and angles between the sides), such prism is called regular.
Is there a regular prism among the ones shown and if so, what colour it is?
Name prism elements during taking the next test.

Edges of a side surface are parallel and equal among themselves.
Compare edges of the bases of a prism - which of them are parallel and equal among themselves?
If you have answered this questions, then you can be sure that you know enough to distinguish a prism from other figures.
