oblique prism
If the joining edges and surfaces are not perpendicular to the base surface, it is called an oblique prism.
Images of oblique prisms on the following pictures are a little different, bases of two prisms on the right aren't parallel to each other.
In this case it is possible to tell that it is the truncated direct prisms, therefore their bases are not parallel sides.

If location of a direct and oblique prism will be changed and compared, we will see that the truncated and inclined prism are the same straight prism which is cut off at an angle! Watch video about this subject.
It is sometimes quite difficult to define a polyhedron's type. In that case it will looking at a shape under a different angle, having mentally rotated, added or having removed some parts of it.
